Ahhhh, cereal....one of my favorite things to eat. And yes, as an adult I still LOVE Count Chocula. In fact, I sometimes hide it from the girls. I remember eating this long, long ago.
Through October 31st you can pick up Boo Berry, Franken Berry and Count Chocula at Target stores. Count Chocula®, Boo Berry® and Franken Berry® cereal combine chocolate, blueberry and strawberry flavored cereal with colorful marshmallow shapes that kids and adults enjoy. Each serving of the playful, monster-themed cereal is low in fat with no cholesterol or saturated fat, providing a good source of calcium, whole grain and nine other essential vitamins and minerals.
You can also go to www.grocerysavvy.com, where you can view the fun "Let´s Go Disco" video and download a desktop background of your favorite Monsters character.
I was given the prize pack pictured above plus a $10 Target gift card to purchase Halloween treats from General Mills through MyBlogSpark. In addition one lucky reader will get the same prize pack.

My favorite cereal was and still is Cheerios. I ate them for breakfast as a kid but now they are my favorite snack to have rather than eating them for breakfast.

I loved Captain Crunch when I was growing up, but usually only got it when I spent the night with a friend because my parents made us eat "healthy" cereal.

My mom would let us pick out a box of cereal for our special treat once a month and we LOVED it
When I was little, I absolutely loved Freakies cereal! In fact, to this day I still have two Freakies magnets on my refrigerator - I cherish those little guys!! :-)

GROWING UP AS A KID, YOU WERE LUCKY TO EVEN GET TO TASTE THE CEREAL THAT WAS AVAILABLE. IN A HOUSEHOLD WITH SIX KIDS WE WOULD FIGHT FOR THE PRIZES INSIDE OR WHO WAS GOING TO EAT THE FREE CANDY. WE LOVED FRUITY PEBBLES, SUGAR BEAR PUFFS, AND COCOA PUFFS. BUT IT WAS LIKE A CONTEST FIRST COME FIRST SERVE. IF YOU DIDNT GET UP EARLY ENOUGH TO GET A BOWL YOU HAD TO EAT EGG OR WHATEVER WAS MADE THAT MORNING. NOW THAT WE ARE GROWN WE BUY OUR OWN CEREALS. BUT WHEN IT COMES TO HOLIDAYS AND EVERYONE IS OVER IT DEJAVUE ALL OVER AGAIN.
I loved and still do cheerios!
