My Ultimate Family Vacation
Each year with money saved through being frugal I take the girls on a family vacation. It is one of the ways we make memories. Sometimes we drive, sometimes we fly, other times we cruise.
I think the best vacation would be having my three girls, plus all of our friends, and heading to a cabin in the mountains someplace. I would love it if there was snow, but not so cold that we could not enjoy ourselves. All electronic devices would be left at home and we would all have to communicate with real words, not texts (gasp). I really enjoy the outdoors more than anything and like to show my kids the beauty the world has to offer.
We try and make our vacations more about spending quality time with each other vs spending quantities of money on stuff. There are so many things do see and do that really don't cost a lot of money. That is where the memories are made.
