Luckily my kids have always loved fruits and vegetables, so getting them to have their 5 servings a day has never been a problem.
But for those of you who have problems getting your kids to eat fruits or vegetables, Juicy Juice might be a way to help you.
Their new Sparkling Fruit Juices are made with 70% fruit juice and 30% water providing one serving of fruit per can. They are lightly carbonated and 90 calories each.
Thanks to Nestle my family got a chance to try out all three flavors. We loved them! They are great to pair with a mid day snack. You can print off $1 coupons to try it also.
One lucky reader will also get to try it for free! The sample pack includes a three four-packs, one of each of the three new flavors, Sparkling Apple, Sparkling Berry and Sparkling Orange.
To enter: tell me ways you try and get more fruits and veggies into your kids.
Entries will be taken until Tuesday, September 28th at noon CST. At that time I will post the winner and you will have 48 hours to get back to me with your mailing information or a new winner will be picked.
I suggest you subscribe to the blog and become a fan on facebook so you don’t miss a thing!

I let the kids help me plant, take care of, then prepare stuff from the garden. They get so escited about helping, that they always want to help eat it!
I cook vegetables in my main dishes. To spaghetti I add fresh tomatoe, onions, bell pepper, squash, carrots...anythingt that will cook down. To muffins, I add zucchini and carrots that I grate. I figure any extra helps and disguising it works!
I'm lucky, as mine are very good eaters. I do get them to help me prepare dinner, and they tend to eat more as it "tastes so much better" when they help. ;)

My kids love fruits & veggies. They help pick in the garden, they add bananas to cereal or oatmeal, they eat a piece of fruit for lunch, for a snack they have fruit or veggies cut up, they eat a salad with most dinners, & 1-2 side vegetables. They love fruit smoothies too. Thanks
My kids love to help me in the garden, and I take them to the fruit stand to get veggies too.. My youngest would prefer apples and corn over any other food..

I know I can get my kids to eat fruit if they are able to dip it in nutella
I usually mix fruit and veggie into smoothies, and kids love it!
my kids are really good about eating fruits & veggies, but I sneak extras in by finely grating zucchini & carrots into my spaghetti sauce.

we're pretty good fruit and veggie eaters, but i do "hide" things like spinach and kale in our normal foods...taco meat, spaghetti, meatloaf...etc.
Luckily, my girls are good eaters when it comes to fruits and veggies. However, I do add veggies to dishes like american chop suey and even meatloaf.
I plan our meals around fruits and veggies, instead of around meat!

We're among the lucky ones as well whose grandkids love fruits & veggies. A fun way to eat them is individual veggie pizzas. (No mushrooms for grandma though!)
I put vegetables in our dinners that I cook. I only have one picky eater so I sneak things in
My daughter loves to help pick things from the garden and 'help' cook.

Sometimes I add a fun dip for carrots or apples which makes it fun and they took a healthy snack class this summer for great healthy ideas at 4-H

My kids like to spice and sauce up their veggies to get them down. They tend to get their servings of veggies and fruits in some drinks such as the V-8 fruit/veggie and fruit drinks.

add them in the recipes
Dipping...somehow everything tastes better dipped.

I blend up squash, onions and other veggies and add to my spaghetti sauce.

I've been known to hide veggies in all sorts of recipes. For example, I put carrot baby food in brownies. It makes them moist, and you can't even taste the carrots!

I will blend whatever "secret" ingredient I need so no one ever knows.
Smoothies are a great way to get fruits into my kids. I also like putting veggies in the spaghetti sauce.
thanks

I make lots of smoothies.
We have a garden and the kids help tend and harvest it. They love to eat lettuce and tomatoes we have grown!
We don't have kids at home anymore. Fortunately, when the kids and/or grandkids come to visit, they all love to eat fruits and veggies.
Hubby on the other hand only likes his fruit baked in a pie. Though, he does love veggies.

i let the kids cut the veggies that we put on our pizza--squash, bell peppers, onions, tomatoes, mushrooms YUM!
My kids love fruit so getting in fruit is not a problem, veggies are a different story so add them in muffins, breads and just plain make them eat them.
My son will eat anything so he's easy. My daughter on the other hand is super picky. I sneak veggies in as much as I can. Thankfully she loves fruit!
