Stouffer's wants to help families get closer through regular family dinners, but without reliable housing it can be impossible. That’s why they’ll donate 100 percent of the net proceeds of each “Let’s Fix Dinner” book purchased to Habitat for Humanity.
LET'S FIX DINNER will make you giggle, grin, and think about all the ways dinner can bring families closer together and, like dinnertime itself, this delightful book is made to be shared! And since regular dinners and reliable housing are two of the best ways to help families—and especially kids—succeed.
Stoffer’s would like to give two lucky readers a coupon for a free family-sized dinner from Stouffer's, a Family Dinner Box of Questions to get the kids talking and the limited-edition “Let’s Fix Dinner” book by award-winning artist and author Todd Parr.

I am raising my 11 year old grandson, and I make it mandatory for us to eat together each evening. Families nowadays are just so busy.. and seem to forget what is really important. Family time!! Some nights I am too tired to cook a full course dinner, and those nights we have Stoffers.. usually Lasagne.. his favorite.. with a salad and garlic bread.. So easy and not much cleanup..
We try to have a regular Sunday dinner.
my kids are still really young, so we are able to have family dinner ~5x a week. They know that when Dad walks in the door they take him his iced tea & we get ready to sit down & see how everyones day has gone.

I cook daily and make if "official" that we all eat at the dining room, no TV.
We eat together at the dinner table as a family every night, whether that is at home or at a restaurant.
We usually do family meals on the weekend. That's also when we do anything adventurous as little one will try things more and eat more of it when she gets to help me make dinner and the hubs is around.
I have 3 boys and each boy takes a turn helping me prepare dinner. Its challenging sometimes but its also fun.. Their wives someday will thank me.
We take turns fixing supper with mom.. I have three boys.. They sometimes complain but its fun. Their wives someday will thank me.

My rule has always been no TV and no phone during evening meal. This gives us a chance to relax and reconnect.
It is just my husband and I now for daily meals but we try to have at least one family meal each week with our children.judyylee@hotmail.com
When the grandkids are with us they get to plan the menu, shop & help prepare the meal. They are so proud of themselves.
We are able to eat together 5 nights a week and just have it a given that we will have supper together when home. I like that we have just made it part of schedules automatically to eat together when work schedules do not interfere.

My daughter just turned 12 and is showing interest in being in the kitchen. I plan meals that is fun for her to help with, a little dicing, sautee'ing and mixing and she is intersted! Of course, then she has to sample "her" cooking! dmatthews38751 at yahoo dot com
We try to get together with either my parents or my in-laws every Sunday for dinner. It's a great way for my kids to stay connected with their grandparents.
We turn the tv off during meals. That really helps everybody pay attention to each other.
Thanks

we make pizza together and then sit down together and eat as a family.
Hubby and I have dinner together every night. When our kids were still at home, we all had dinner together. Sometimes we would be missing one that had to work, or do something at school, but there was usually at least one extra kid at our table to make up. LOL!

We try to have dinner together at home when possible. (Seems like we're always on the go!) Our daughter is two, and having homecooked meals each day is something I'm working on because I want her to have healthy food and learn the pleasure of enjoying the meal with her family.
