Being a part of my family was always a funny experience. It was Mother's Day and daddy was rounding the 4 of us up to make breakfast for mom. Poor mother ate runny eggs, burnt toast and cantalope that we had all taken bites off. We even bought her a bottle of Evening in Paris Perfume at the 5&Dime. That stuff stunk so bad but she wore it proudly.

we had a large family growing up and mom worked nights- it amazed me she made most items like pizza homemade- homemade pasta- even made-mixed homemade cereal mixes with cornflakes and dried fruits- amazing

We always made cards and gifts for my mom. No matter how bad they were she always displayed them in the china cabinet. To this day they are still displayed in the china cabinet.

We have a huge family, so growing up, my siblings and I would always try to outdo each other! I had the brillant idea to make breakfast in bed for my mom one year, and I was about 5. Of course, non of my older siblings would help me cook, so I made cereal, then found out we were out of milk... except for strawberry milk... my mom totally ate it out of guilt. I can still remmember the look on her face! haha!
