Success Rice Review and Giveaway

For those who don't know, I am a rice junkie! It does not matter what kind it is, I love rice. Anything from plain white rice to rice with nutmeg and milk (try it, it is good). Recently I purchased Success Rice with coupons provided by them. I had not purchased Success Rice in a very long time, probably because it was not the brand my mother bought. Well...Mom, you were wrong.

One of the benefits I loved about Success Rice is that it is quick and easy. No measuring rice then water and standing over the stove or turning on a rice cooker. Nope, all you have to do it take one of the bags and put it in a pot of boiling water. No measuring, no standing over the stove. Each bag is cooked in about 8-10 minutes. I made a recipe from their "Feed 4 for $10" section on their site and it was a big hit , the rice lasagna.

Success Rice has offered to give away one coupon each to 5 of my readers! Entries will be taken until Saturday, August 15th at 5pm CST. At that time I will post winners names and you have 48 hours to get back to me with your mailing information. If I don't hear from you by then a new winner will be picked. You have several ways to enter.

1. Go to the Success Rice website and check out their "Feed 4 for $10" recipes and tell me which one you would consider trying.

after that has been done and for extra entries you may do the following, once they are done leave another comment letting me know for each extra item you did.

2. Follow me on twitter @jane4girls and tell me your twitter handle

3. Tweet about this and include @jane4girls and @success_rice both in the same tweet

4. Follow me on networked blogs through facebook

5. Blog about this on your blog and link back to the giveaway including a link to your post

Total of 5 separate entries per person if you do all five items above.

anonymous entries must leave email addy on each one so I can get in touch with you

I would try the Savoy Chicken Pot Pie because I am likely to have most of those ingredients on hand. I like to find new recipes that use my pantry staples as ingredients!

I would try the "Sesame Ginger Chicken and Brown Rice". Another one that I would try (even though it's not in the Feed 4 for 10 section) is the recipe for "Successful Crab and Rice Cakes". I'm a sucker for crab cakes.

I've never tried the brand either, but would like to. I haven't cooked many of these 'comfort' foods for years! So I think I would try the Chicken ala King recipe...been ages...
